Privacy & cookie statement

Short and honest: we do not track you. This site has no trackers, no analytics and no services from big tech companies. Below is exactly which data we do process, why, and what does not happen.

Which data we process

Only what you enter yourself in the contact form: your name, your email address and your message. Nothing more — no account, no profile. If you visit the site without using the form, we process no personal data about you.

What we use it for

Solely to read your message and reply to you. You share this data yourself, on your own initiative, to get in touch with us — that is the basis. We use it for nothing else and send you no unsolicited messages.

What happens to your message

Your message is forwarded to us as email via our own mail server in the EU — no external mail party, no American service. It is not stored in a database or on the website. The email stays in our mailbox as long as needed to handle your question properly, and no longer.

Protection against misuse

To counter spam and misuse of the form we use light, privacy-friendly thresholds:

  • An invisible check field and a small arithmetic sum — no reCAPTCHA, no Google.
  • A counter per IP address to block bulk sending. Of that IP address we keep no readable form: only an irreversible hash (SHA-256) with a few timestamps, briefly, purely to be able to count the limit.

Cookies and local storage

This site sets no cookie at all to track you. There is only strictly functional storage, and it needs no consent:

  • One session cookie on the contact form, needed for the spam check (with the secure, httponly and SameSite=Lax attributes). It disappears on its own.
  • Local storage in your browser for your display preferences (theme, text size, contrast, typeface, calm view, motion). That stays on your own device and is never sent to us.

What we do not do

No tracking, no analytics, no advertising, no profiling. No external fonts, scripts or third-party embeds — the whole site loads from our own server. We do not sell or share your data with anyone.

Your rights

You may ask us which data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to its use. One message via the form is enough; we handle it as quickly as we can. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
